Girdwood Health Clinic, Inc. (GHCI) is a federally qualified health center that is actively seeking a new Behavioral Health Director to lead and expand behavioral health services for patients in Girdwood, Alaska and the surrounding Turnagain Arm communities.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Behavioral Health (BH) Director provides leadership, oversight, and direction for the behavioral health services provided by the Girdwood Health Clinic (GHC). This hybrid position involves both direct patient care as a licensed behavioral health professional and administrative duties, including supervision of behavioral health providers and staff, program development, and overall management of behavioral health services. The BH Director works collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, integrated care to a diverse patient population.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health; at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience working in an interdisciplinary integrated primary care and behavioral health clinical setting is preferred.
Education, Certification and Licensure: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field required. Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a behavioral health professional (e.g., PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the State of Alaska. PsyD Preferred.
