Salary Range: $38.50 To 47.47 Hourly

Overview

This position provides clinical services and supports to clients in our Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) as well serving other youth and young adult programs as indicated. The clinician for EASA works as part of a transdisciplinary team to provide supportive, community-based services to youth and young adults ages 12-30 who meet criteria for the EASA program. In addition to providing direct services to program members and their families, the clinician will provide training, education and will co-facilitate multi-family groups. The Clinician works collaboratively within the agency and with other mental health professionals, community partners and local, state and federal stakeholders. The Clinician will utilize Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) in delivery of client services. Options provides on the job training and supervision for FIT.

Responsibilities

Therapist works with the EASA program and transition age youth. Provides outreach and engagement activities, assessments and service plan development, psychoeducation, and appropriate treatments in consultation with the patient, families, and other team members. Works in community based and office based settings. Offers community education to reduce the stigma of mental illness and raise awareness about psychosis. Utilizes appropriate evidence-based practices and ensures program fidelity is met. Provides therapy and coordination of services. Submits timely documentation of services provided using Electronic Health Record. Delivers services that address diverse social, cultural, gender, and economic needs of the population served utilizing equity frameworks.

Qualifications

This position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral science, an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and related experience.

Must be a QMHP on the Mental Health & Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) registry.

OR

Must be registered as a licensure intern with the State of Oregon or be licensed in Oregon as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC or clinical Psychologist.

In order to avoid potential conflict of interest, applicants for this position cannot have received services from Options for Southern Oregon within the last 12 months.

Candidates must be able to use e-mail, compose documents, save and locate documents electronically, and learn to use our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications preferred.

Must pass state-required background and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.
