An executive caregiver who excels in this role, will: · Develop strategic plans for nursing, including mechanisms to ensure quality and adherence to standards. · Lead design and implementation of assigned business plans. · Collaborate with and medical staff to develop and measure performance standards. · Create continuous improvement environment promoting innovative patient care delivery and current research findings. · Develop and mentor nurse leaders and direct staff to achieve hospital goals, nursing objectives and nursing practice standards. · Measure budgetary performance against standards and ensures variances are within targets. Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: · BSN and master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration · Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Ohio · Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership within a large academic healthcare system. · Working knowledge of national quality databases such as NDNQI and UHC · Experience leading nurses and being an advocate for nursing · Must possess ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multiple demands and multi-task, and must work effectively with all healthcare disciplines Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
