Job Summary

The Chief Administrative Officer of the Avera Medical Group is accountable for operational leadership and performance of Avera Health’s medical group operations, continued improvement in quality, operational/cost effectiveness and financial performance. Has oversight responsibility for operation, strategy program development for the Avera Medical Group.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in clinic operations and demonstrated management experience required.
  • Engagement in leadership and growth opportunities required.
