BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIAN I - IV

We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Clinicians I – IV. In this role, you will provide counseling services to individuals using a combination of therapeutic and recreational interventions.

All positions require pre-employment drug screening, FBI & background check.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct patient assessments and gather all necessary information to determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Conduct groups, family, and individual counseling sessions and potentially lead psycho-educational or family groups.
  • Administering assessments to evaluate clients' needs.
  • Complete documentation promptly according to CTP clinical procedures.
  • Regularly report clients' progress to the supervisor.
  • Coordinate and refer patients to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling.
  • Travel to outlying sites to provide training and treatment to patients.
  • Maintaining an OTP caseload and conducting annual updates, including CCARs, DACOD, and others

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • HS Diploma or BA with a CAS Certification.
    and/or
  • Master’s degree in sociology or related field.
  • Must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months after the hire date.
    and/or

Licensure:

  • Requires licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • A Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) and a professional license are preferred.
  • Must obtain a CAS certification within 18 months after the hire date.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years working in the mental health field.
  • Previous substance treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.

Other:

  • Understanding the ASAM level of care criteria is preferred but optional.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills are required, including electronic records.
  • CPR and first-aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by agency).
  • Valid driver's license and insurability.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to assist other employees in moving patients.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and drive.

A combination of office and clinical settings with a high degree of patient interaction.
