Certified Nurse Midwife

Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We have an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Wenatchee location.

The Certified Nurse Midwife’s primary job function is to provide medical care and treatment to women, with an emphasis on reproductive health, under supervision of the Medical Director Midwifery; delivers infants and instructs patients in prenatal and postnatal health by performing the following duties.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing.
  • Certification/Licensure: Current Washington Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Midwife License; current board certification with the American Midwifery Certification Board; valid driver's license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS or ATLS may be used to substitute for BLS.
  • Experience: Preferred 1 year experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife with diverse communities and low-income children and families and migrant/community health.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
