Clinical Director, Member, & Community Liaison, Gig Harbor, WA

The Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW) works to promote the long-term growth and sustainability of in-home services in Washington State. HCAW provides leadership for consumers by unifying in-home service providers through public outreach, education, legislative advocacy, and supporting practice standards.

HCAW is hiring a Clinical Director, Member & Community Liaison to work with nonprofit, private, and governmental organizations to build community relationships and expand HCAW’s mission and programs. This individual will work with the HCAW Board to develop, manage, and nurture relationships across a wide range of partnerships, including those yet to be identified, to develop and improve channels for providing information and access to the HCAW community.

Additional Information

This role is primarily remote and can be performed from anywhere. However, some travel to Washington State is required, including attendance at the HCAW annual spring conference and annual strategic planning meeting. Limited to twice per year. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the association.
While residency in Washington State is not required, candidates should have experience in the Northwest region of the United States.

Required Qualities of a Candidate

• Clinical Background with an unencumbered license in your field.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role in an agency providing in-home services.
• Knowledge of the material differences in a Certificate of Need (CON) state and state licensure.

Preferred Qualities of a Candidate

• Strong interest and background in home health care and nursing.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and online meeting facilitation.
