As President of Aurora Health Care Metro Inc. hospitals, provides leadership, direction and strategy across the assigned market. Ensures effective and efficient delivery of a positive patient experience across entities within the market, as well as compliance with established objectives to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. Acts as a champion for quaternary and tertiary hospital program planning, utilization, development and growth.

Education Required:

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 10 years of management experience in health care administration that includes experiences within a large integrated health care system overseeing significant operations, directing the financial performance and ensuring the integration of services provided.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Experience developing and implementing plans which successfully integrate clinical services while meeting regional and system goals/objectives over a multi-year period.
  • Extensive experience driving best practice standards, and ensuring collaboration across business lines and functions.
  • Expert level knowledge of growth and business development strategies.
  • Significant experience with detailed financial analysis, budgeting, developing capital and operational budgets, and managing medical center operations. Skills in assessing risk using financial, statistical and economic data.
  • Thorough understanding of health care delivery functions and financing systems.
  • Expertise in motivating, leading, and problem solving in a complex organization.
  • Skills and demonstrated experience in establishing excellent working relationships and strategic partnering with various teams and executives across a large organization to achieve a shared vision, values and objectives. Ability to function in a fast-paced, matrix management environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively and collaborate with various levels of leadership within the market, region and system.
